Composition:
Each vial contains 0.5g Amifostine .
INDICATION:
TIANDIDA is indicated to reduce the cumulative renal toxicity associated with repeated administration of cisplatin in patients with advanced ovarian cancer or non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without reducing the effectiveness of cisplatin. TIANDIDA is indicated to reduce the incidence of moderate to severe xerostimia in patients undergoing post-operative radiation treatment for head and neck cancer,

where the radiation port includes a substantial portion of the parotid glands without reducing the effectiveness of radiation.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Intravenous infusion before Chemotherapy or Radiation, For Chemotherapy: The recommended starting dose of TIANDIDA is 800mg/m2 administered once daily dissolved in 50ml of 0.9% Sodium Chloride for injection as a 15 minutes i.v infusion, starting 30 minutes prior to Chemotherapy. |

For Radiotherapy: The recommended dose of TIANDIDA is 200mg/m2 administered once daily as a 3 minutes i.v infusion, starting 15-30 minutes prior to standard fraction radiation therapy (1.8-2.0 Gy).
PACKING & SHELF LIFE:
Packing is 0.5g ¡Á 10's and shelf life is 2 years from date of manufacture. Store in a dry place, avoid the sunlight. |
